About the Role
The Mkhomazi Wilderness Area is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and inventory control
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including financial statements and staff performance evaluations
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements
- Matric coupled with F&B certificate (advantageous)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Fully computer literate
- 5 years of experience in a bistro-style dining restaurant within a managerial role
- Reliable vehicle for work-related purposes
