About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and delivering consistently high culinary standards at our Luxury Lodge in Lephalale, Limpopo.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during service
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage food costs
- Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
- Support menu planning and development
Requirements
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good organisational and time-management skills

- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R18,000 – R25,000pm depending on experience. Accommodation included.
