About the Role

The Vault Officer is a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our vault, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the security and integrity of the vault at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the security and integrity of the vault at all times
  • Monitor and control authorised access to the vault
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all items entering and leaving the vault
  • Ensure strict compliance with all security protocols and procedures
  • Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and security incidents
  • Collaborate closely with security personnel and management teams

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification : Possession of a Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or recognised equivalent
  • Security Credentials : Valid PSIRA Grade C Registration and a current PSIRA Cash-in-Transit (CIT) training certificate
  • Firearm Competency : Valid Firearm Competency Certificate for a handgun with business purposes endorsement
  • Financial Standing : Clear credit record with no adverse history
  • Legal Standing : No criminal convictions
  • Business Affiliation : Must not be currently registered as a director of any company or business
  • Health : Medically fit to perform the duties associated with this role
