Potchefstroom: Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop automated control systems to improve production efficiency. Programme and maintain PLCs and HMIs. Assist in integrating automation solutions with existing production lines. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of automated systems. Provide technical support and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Stay informed about emerging automation technologies and suggest relevant improvements. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering. 210 years of relevant experience in an automation or controls environment. Solid understanding of PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication and teamwork skills.
