About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead the front-of-house team at our Luxury Safari Lodge in North West. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for delivering unforgettable guest experiences and ensuring their stay is seamless, relaxing, and truly memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, check them in, and show them to their accommodation
  • Host during meal and tea times, paying attention to dietary requests and special needs
  • Ensure all rooms and public areas are guest-ready and maintained
  • Coordinate seating, liaise with service staff and the Chef, and manage guest flow
  • Handle guest queries and payments professionally
  • Monitor health, safety, and lodge etiquette standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Host or in guest-facing roles in hospitality
  • Strong people, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience in staff supervision and team coordination
  • Knowledge of lodge etiquette and health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work shifts, remain on your feet, and provide consistent, high-quality service

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; hospitality certification is advantageous
