Job Description
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
- Skilled in time and quality management across multiple projects. Proficient in interpreting plans, specifications, and designs. Experienced in built environment project management, construction methodologies, production rates, techniques, and relevant regulatory processes.
Cost Control and Procurement
- Strong understanding of cost and procurement management. Capable of planning, monitoring, and reporting costs with corrective actions. Supports Commercial Managers in procurement strategy, assists with bidding and award processes, and understands the supplier and competitive landscape.
Financial Management
- Assesses financial impacts of town designs and plans. Manages complex planning studies, ensuring integration of affordable, energy-efficient structures. Monitors project performance and delivers reports to stakeholders.
Integration and Scope Management
- Expert in integration and scope management. Oversees community and business impact planning. Manages town planning projects within scope, and develops and reviews related documentation.
Reporting
- Prepare detailed reports on key targets, variations, and mitigation actions. Support management presentations and reporting packs. Track and report on plans and deadlines to stakeholders, and perform technical/support tasks as needed to meet client needs.
Risk and Opportunity Management
- Identify and report risks proactively. Draft risk assessments and SOPs, maintain insurance coverage, and manage risk transfer. Spot opportunities, support mitigation strategies, and contribute to peer reviews.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant B Degree within the Construction industry
- SACPCMP Pr registration advantageous
- At least 10 years in a Senior Management capacity.
