Introduction
A leading Construction, Solar and Electrical company based in Silverton is looking for an experienced Group Human Resources Manager for their group of companies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the Groups Industrial Relations (IR) policies in line with current legislation.
- Build and maintain sound labour-management relationships across diverse construction sites.
- Facilitate training and development programs in line with national guidelines and organizational goals.
- Conduct skills audits and training needs analyses to support workforce development.
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals across multiple projects and locations.
- Manage all HR administration and reporting functions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee OHS policies and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Handle complex union/ bargaining council negotiations, including multi-union environments.
- Develop and execute long-term IR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Represent the company in CCMA matters and ensure compliance with BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA, and other relevant Acts.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Completed Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR/IR management, preferably in the construction or related sectors
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team and workforce
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Assertive, professional demeanour with a no-nonsense, solution-driven approach
- In-depth knowledge of labour legislation and proven success in complex union negotiations
Package & Remuneration
R 30 000 – R 40 000 CTC pm.
