About the Role
Safari JOBS Ltd is recruiting Subject Matter Experts to support the delivery of an NQF 5 Higher Certificate in Ecotourism Guiding programme. With student enrolments increasing significantly, our client, a highly respected guide and conservation training company, is strengthening their instructional team on an ad-hoc basis. This role offers a meaningful platform for academically strong, field-capable professionals to translate complex ecological concepts into practical, real-world understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentoring students in ecotourism guiding principles and practices
- Developing and delivering high-quality training sessions
- Sharing knowledge and expertise to elevate standards in the guiding industry
- Building confidence and sharpening competence among students
- Collaborating with the training structure to ensure academic integrity and alignment with professional guiding standards
Requirements
- Degree or National Diploma in Biology, Zoology, Conservation, or a closely related discipline
- Relevant field guiding experience
- Excellent English fluency & literacy
- Clear criminal record
- Passionate about education, mentorship, and conservation

Salary & Benefits
Competitive negotiable ad-hoc compensation. DOE on field experience and unique skill set. 3 meals per day, and accommodation (single tented accommodation with communal ablutions) will be provided, if/when required.
