About the Role
The Machine Setter role at Communicate Finance requires a skilled individual to set up machines and components according to specifications and timelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate setup, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining detailed records.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all machine and component setups according to job specifications and timelines
- Verify setup accuracy, align tooling, and perform trial runs before production
- Create and maintain detailed Setters Notes to ensure repeatability and standardised production
- Troubleshoot setup and tooling issues in collaboration with production and toolroom teams
- Ensure all setups comply with quality, safety, and operational standards
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in machine setup within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
- Knowledge of CNC programs, tooling, and production processes is advantageous (not specified as required)
Qualifications
Matric or relevant technical or trade qualification is required
