About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure design, engineering principles, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Apply engineering principles to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
- Manage contracts and projects from initiation to completion
- Develop and maintain detailed specifications and reports
- Conduct master planning and bill of quantities for infrastructure projects
- Utilize engineering design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D & Wadiso/Epanet, Revit, BIM/ACC
- Proficiently use Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer or Candidate Technologist
- Planning to register as a Professional Engineer within the next 24 months
- At least 5 years of experience in design of water and wastewater infrastructure, engineering principles, contract and project management, specifications and report writing, master planning, and bill of quantities
