Job Description
The successful candidate will:
– Serve as a trusted advisor to the Board of Trustees and executive leadership
– Lead the legal and governance function
– Oversee board and committee governance processes
– Manage litigation, regulatory matters and Pension Fund Adjudicator complaints
– Ensure the organisation maintains the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance
Requirements:
– 10+ years’ legal experience, ideally within financial services or retirement funds
– Experience as a Head of Legal, General Counsel, Company Secretary or Governance Executive
– Strong knowledge of pension fund legislation, regulatory frameworks and King IV governance principles
– Proven experience supporting Boards and governance committees
