Job Description

This position is ideal for a technology leader who enjoys building stable, secure and future ready systems. You will guide the full technology function, which includes infrastructure, operations, information systems, and security. The role requires someone who can balance long term vision with operational excellence, while ensuring that technology services enable the broader objectives of the organisation. You will collaborate with senior leadership, support strategic decision making, and ensure that technology investments deliver real value. Key Responsibilities Lead the direction of all technology and security functions to ensure dependable, efficient and secure services. Guide strategy and planning across systems, operations, risk, and major technology projects. Oversee the management of infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, service performance and continuity planning. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure effective service delivery. Provide direction to the technology and security teams, ensuring clear responsibilities and strong collaboration. Manage major projects from planning stage through completion, ensuring quality outcomes within agreed timeframes. Ensure strong governance practices, including risk controls, data protection requirements and security standards. Maintain strong oversight of service providers, contracts and supplier performance. Job Experience and Skills Required Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics or a related field. Certification in project management is beneficial. Knowledge based certifications in governance or security are an advantage. At least three years experience in a senior technology leadership position. Eight to ten years experience across technology operations or enterprise systems. Proven background guiding security functions or overseeing security practices. Demonstrated experience managing complex technology projects. Strong ability to communicate technical subjects in clear and simple terms. Confident leadership with the ability to unite teams and encourage high performance. Strategic planning capability with sound judgment in risk, budgeting and system decisions. Strong ability to manage service provider performance and contract expectations. Capacity to analyse information, solve problems and operate under pressure when required. Apply Now!
