Durban: Logistics Supervisor – Manufacturing

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily warehouse and manufacturing supply operations. Maintain accurate stock control, implement FIFO, and manage ageing/overstock items. Coordinate inventory with production, procurement, and sales teams. Plan and optimize deliveries to reduce costs and meet production schedules. Lead, coach, and develop logistics staff. Implement warehouse systems and optimize space and resources. Resolve operational challenges and maintain strong relationships internally and externally. Essential Requirements: Bachelors degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field. 35 years experience in logistics/warehousing or manufacturing, including supervisory exposure. Automotive industry experience is mandatory. Hands-on experience with Syspro ERP is essential. Strong Excel, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
