VACANT POSITION Social Media & Content Creator Misty Hills Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa requires the services of an Social Media & Content Creator. The candidate needs to have at least 2 – 3 years experience in social media management . Recreation Africa is seeking a creative, forward-thinking Social Media & Content Creator to elevate our digital presence across the hospitality industry; leisure, weddings, conferencing, events, spa, and memorable dining experiences. If you understand both content strategy and AI-powered marketing ; and you know how to turn engagement into enquiries we want to meet you. We are looking for someone who : Thinks strategically Understands hospitality marketing Uses AI tools intelligently (not lazily) Knows how to grow engagement AND drive revenue Is self-motivated. Additional marketing responsibilities. You will manage and grow our social media presence while integrating AI tools to improve efficiency, creativity, targeting, and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a monthly content strategy in keeping with our values. Plan and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & LinkedIn Create engaging reels and short-form video content Manage community engagement and response time Grow followers organically Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements Assist with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) content ideas Track AI-driven search and content visibility trends Performance & Reporting Monthly analytics reporting ROI tracking on campaigns Campaign optimization Identify booking and enquiry conversion opportunities Requirements Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney/Canva AI, analytics AI tools, etc.) Strong understanding of content marketing. Video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe, etc.) Excellent copywriting skills Ability to work independently and proactively Understanding of SEO and AI search visibility is advantageous Has a valid drivers licence (Code 8/B) Willingness to travel.
