Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Developer to join their growing team in the Telecommunications sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development:
    • Contribute to the development and delivery of strategic projects using C# (.NET Core).
    • Design and implement RESTful APIs.
    • Develop and maintain database solutions using SQL Server.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Implement best practice testing methodologies.
    • Utilize unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit – beneficial).
    • Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • System Maintenance and Support:
    • Provide ongoing system maintenance and support.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Development:
    • Participate in knowledge transfer activities.
    • Engage in training and development opportunities.
    • Contribute to team building activities.
  • Process and Standards:
    • Adhere to engineering processes and environment guidelines.
    • Follow good coding practices and standards.
    • Utilize source code configuration management tools (beneficial).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong programming skills in C# (.NET Core).
    • Familiarity with API design principles and RESTful APIs.
    • Knowledge of database concepts and SQL Server.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Willingness and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation.
  • Exposure to source code configuration management.

  • Familiarity with SOLID design principles.
