Job Description
This is not a desk-bound reporting role. This is finance at the engine room level.
We are looking for a commercially sharp, operationally hands-on Finance Manager with 5 to 10 years of solid FM experience within FMCG or Manufacturing. If your background is purely Financial Services or Banking, this is not the right fit.
Our client wants someone who understands cost of sales, inventory pressure, production variances, and what happens when supply chain sneezes.
What you will own:
– Lead and develop a finance team
– Review and drive budgets and forecasts
– Own monthly management reporting and deliver insights that influence decisions
– Oversee general ledger integrity and reconciliations
– Manage audits, tax calculations, VAT and statutory returns
– Review cash flow forecasts and investigate variances
– Oversee forex exposure and forward cover in line with policy
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
You will be the right hand to senior leadership, translating numbers into strategy and risk into opportunity.
We are looking for:
– CA(SA)
– 5 to 10 years Financial Manager experience
– Proven FMCG or Manufacturing exposure is essential
– Strong consolidations experience
– IFRS knowledge
– Tax and VAT expertise
– SAP experience advantageous
– Advanced Excel capability
– A confident leader who is commercially astute and operationally grounded
If you thrive where stock moves, production lines hum and decisions need to be backed by sharp financial insight, this is your seat at the table.
Send your CV if you are ready to lead from the front and make finance a competitive advantage.
