About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Crayon Technologies Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and innovation of our technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing both cloud and on-premises solutions to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and robust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the DevOps team to foster a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure deployments
  • Manage AWS environments, focusing on cost optimization and monitoring
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Ensure system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business goals
  • Drive automation of routine tasks to enhance efficiency
  • Implement security best practices and disaster recovery strategies

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Proven experience delivering across all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced skills with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python
  • Experience with RESTful API development
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP and on-premises solutions like VMware or OpenStack
  • Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
