About the Role

The Health, Safety and Risk Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of employees, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and upholding the company’s commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Health, Safety and Risk management systems to meet all relevant legal and Company requirements
  • Ensure staff are skilled and trained according to their work instructions relevant to their job as and when they start their employ
  • Report on housekeeping practices in production area, workshop and outside factory, in line with the company health and safety and environmental guidelines
  • Maintain Quality, Safety, Risk, Environmental, Production and Logistical systems
  • Control observations and NCR reports on a weekly basis and implement corrective and preventative measures where necessary
  • Update and maintain the quality data system

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
  • Relevant Health and Safety qualification
  • Possession of a valid Code 08/EB drivers license
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word & MS Outlook
