About the Role
The Health, Safety and Risk Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of employees, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and upholding the company’s commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Health, Safety and Risk management systems to meet all relevant legal and Company requirements
- Ensure staff are skilled and trained according to their work instructions relevant to their job as and when they start their employ
- Report on housekeeping practices in production area, workshop and outside factory, in line with the company health and safety and environmental guidelines
- Maintain Quality, Safety, Risk, Environmental, Production and Logistical systems
- Control observations and NCR reports on a weekly basis and implement corrective and preventative measures where necessary
- Update and maintain the quality data system
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
- Relevant Health and Safety qualification
- Possession of a valid Code 08/EB drivers license
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word & MS Outlook
