About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor role at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd is a critical position that requires a skilled and experienced maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of our hospitality setting, including hotel, lodge, or game reserve operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and systems
- Supervise and coordinate the work of junior maintenance staff
- Implement preventative maintenance systems to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
- Respond to emergency situations and perform standby duties as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements
- Trade qualification (Electrician, Plumber, or similar technical field preferred)
- Minimum 4–6 years’ maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector (highly advantageous)
