About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CA(SA)) role at Authentic Life Connections is a critical leadership position that requires a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in executive financial leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will provide business leadership and strategic support to the Managing Director, while overseeing the full finance function responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Business leadership and strategic support to MD
- Report to the MD and Board of Directors
- Financial reporting
- Full management accounts
- Statutory finance
- Performance management and analysis
- Business planning, budgets, and forecast
- Cashflow
- Ownership of inventory and import oversight, ensuring effective financial management, accurate stock valuation, and control across high-value inventory
- Operational commercial management
- Corporate finance
- Risk management and governance
- Key business stakeholder engagement to customers, suppliers, and technology partners, banks, etc.
- Direct strategy
- Treasury Operations
- Oversee finance: Finance & Reporting, Costing, Debtors, Creditors, Treasury, Tax
- Oversee importing, stock procurement, warehousing, facilities management, and legal
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant / CA(SA)
- 10+ years of experience in progressive finance experience
- Experience in an executive financial leadership role, with direct exposure to board-level reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Solid understanding of inventory and stock management, with the ability to leverage it to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
