About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team at Communicate Finance. As the guardian of our marketing files, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate product information on our branded merchandise web shop, managing orders, and coordinating print materials. You will also support our events, social media, and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our branded merchandise web shop, keeping product information accurate and up-to-date
- Handle the end-to-end process of merchandise orders, from liaising with suppliers to dispatching to customers
- Coordinate the production of all branded print materials and signage, working with designers and printers
- Assist in planning and executing company events, handling logistics and on-the-day support
- Become the guardian of our marketing files, keeping everything organised and easy to find
- Help schedule pre-approved social media content
- Support our designer with basic administrative tasks like file preparation
- Keep track of office stationery and marketing consumables, reordering as needed
- Arrange couriers and manage the logistics for sending out marketing materials
- Take notes in team meetings and help track project action items
Requirements
A National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar field (NQF Level 6)
Strong computer skills, particularly in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
1-2 years of experience – we welcome applications from recent graduates
Any exposure to eCommerce platforms or social media tools is a bonus
