About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with conveyancing tasks, including drafting title transfers and preparing transfer documentation, while also handling reception duties in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft title transfers, including conventional and estate transfers.
  • Prepare transfer documentation, including deeds of transfer, consents, and related correspondence.
  • Conduct property searches and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, bond attorneys, and the Deeds Office.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain high attention to detail.
  • Provide support and updates to attorneys and clients throughout the transfer process.
  • Take messages and receive documents in a professional manner.
  • Perform basic reception duties, including signing documents and maintaining the reception area.
  • Handle files, open files, make copies, and perform general office/reception administration.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2+ years of experience as a Conveyancing Secretary and will also maintain the reception area.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Must be a keen team player.
