About the Role
GMI Advisory is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead our IT strategy and drive business growth through innovative technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the adoption of modern tools, platforms, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap to align IT strategy with business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and platforms to support the company’s long-term strategy.
- Ensure that IT investments are aligned with the company’s goals, providing scalability, reliability, and security.
- Design and maintain a high-level blueprint of the organization’s IT landscape, including infrastructure, applications, data, and business processes.
- Establish architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead the creation of governance frameworks and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and guide the organization in adopting modern tools, platforms, and processes.
- Ensure smooth integration of new systems and platforms into the existing IT landscape.
- Lead decisions related to system upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand business goals and recommend IT solutions.
- Collaborate with various business units and IT teams to understand their needs and propose appropriate technology strategies.
- Act as a bridge between business needs and the client.
- Assess and mitigate technology risks, ensuring robust cybersecurity practices and regulatory compliance.
- Implement strategies for disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture.
- Recommend innovations that could provide a competitive advantage or operational improvement.
- Lead IT change management efforts related to architectural changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Provide guidance and oversight for large-scale IT transformation projects, ensuring they adhere to the enterprise architecture.
- Continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of the IT landscape.
- Implement processes for regular reviews of system performance, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IT architecture, including designing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions.
- Experience in enterprise architecture roadmap and frameworks.
- High-level architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation.
- Technology recommendations and business case justifications for IT investments.
- Governance policies and standards for architecture compliance.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
