About the Role

The Production Team Leader will be responsible for leading and coordinating daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets in an automotive manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive production processes and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Ensure production schedules are followed and downtime is minimized.
Monitor KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, cycle time, productivity).
Allocate manpower effectively across workstations.
Supervise, coach, and motivate production operators.
Conduct daily shift meetings and performance briefings.
Manage attendance, timekeeping, and shift rotations.
Identify training needs and support employee development.
Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM).
Lead problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of automotive production processes.
