About the Role
We are seeking an experienced District Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with customers in the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly targets
- Build and maintain a portfolio of key customer accounts
- Provide technical sales support and training to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify new business opportunities
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and demonstrations as required
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in Water Treatment Sales Engineering
- Proven solid track record in water treatment sales
- Technical sales or field sales support experience
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
- Working knowledge of OR chemistry
- Pulp mill operations experience (preferred)
Salary & Benefits
- R65k per annum
- Medical aid (50/50 plus subsidy)
- Provident fund
- Bonus incentive as part of a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) depending on sales and performance
