About the Role
Fancourt, South Africa’s premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is situated in George in the heart of the Garden Route. We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for learning to join our Golf Course Maintenance team as an Apprentice.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand raking of bunkers and bunker maintenance
- Grass cutting with ride-on / walk-behind equipment
- Trimming verges/hedges
- Rolling of greens
- Hand watering and all cultural practices associated with a golf course
- Operating a weed eater, flymo, blower and push mower
- Sod work
- Perform any other reasonable task as requested
Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent
- General work experience
- Valid driver’s license (an added advantage)
- No criminal record
