About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our Private Estate team. As part of our Head Private Chef’s daily prep for up to 12 discerning guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that meet the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily prep for lunch and dinner service
- Design and prepare daily dishes/specials for starters, mains, and desserts
- Create visually appealing pastry components
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve results
Requirements
- Formal training in culinary arts
- At least 3 – 4 years of working experience within Wine Estate Restaurants, Boutique Luxury Hotels or Lodges
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Proficient in the production of hot, cold, and pastry dishes
