About the Role
The Lodge Manager is responsible for overseeing all lodge departments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments.
- Ensure adherence to labour legislation in South Africa.
- Maintain knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry.
- Implement fair labour practices and HR procedures.
- Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and external partners.
- Prioritize tasks and manage projects efficiently.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
Requirements
- Strong operational knowledge across all lodge departments.
- Sound understanding of labour legislation in South Africa.
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry.
