About the Role

The Lodge Manager is responsible for overseeing all lodge departments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments.
Ensure adherence to labour legislation in South Africa.
Maintain knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry.
Implement fair labour practices and HR procedures.
Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and external partners.
Prioritize tasks and manage projects efficiently.
Motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.

Requirements

Strong operational knowledge across all lodge departments.
Sound understanding of labour legislation in South Africa.
In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry.
Solid understanding of fair labour practices and HR procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
