Job Description
- Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings;
- Liaising with Production teams;
- Overseeing the fabrication team, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Managing resources, optimizing equipment utilization and control costs
within the press shop. - Managing machine maintenance schedules and tool requirements.
- Monitor and report on machine utilization and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
efficiency and performance management.
Requirements:
- Matric;
- Own transport;
- Boiler making / Welding as an advantage.
- Able to work long hours and under pressure.
- High energy levels and self-motivated;
- Reliable transport
- Good communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with team members).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in press shop work environment.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Forman.
