KEY PERFORMAMNCE AREAS : MAINTENANCE : Perform statutory and ad hoc inspections of all buildings, Machinery, equipment and reticulation systems and institute necessary action in the event of shortcomings Implement Capital Programme over 3 years business plan through a structured maintenance plan that would guide the organisation over a 3- year period, with budget and timelines. Ensure reliable service of the stage technical requirement, inclusive of high voltage electrical fault detection and fault repair. Maintenance of building and ancillary services MAINTENANCE OF THE STAGE MACHINERY : Ensure reliable service of the stage technical requirement, inclusive of high voltage electrical fault detection and fault repair. MAINTENANCE OF BUILDING AND ANCILLARY SERVICES : Maintain and ensure buildings services, inclusive of fault detection and fault repairs in respect of air conditioning, plumbing and electricity. Responsible for preventative maintenance and the general appearance and maintenance of the building and its surrounding. Ensuring that the services delivered to the building in respect of water, electricity and air supply are according to NOSA standards and maintained according to those standards. Maintenance and repairs of the electric motors, electrical installations and equipment, stage machinery control circuits, emergency generators, A.E.G. P.L.C, AC & DC Drivers, AC & DC Motors, Submersible pumps 3ph substation Switchgear, 110V Emergency lighting, 380V Standby generator % knowledge of air conditioning control panels. Prioritise repairs and maintenance. Compile three-year maintenance and upgrade plan. MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRONIC SYSTEM IN THE BUILDING : Maintain CCTV network and access control systems. Maintain foyer and stage call systems. Fire detection system service and regular testing. Security radio and repeater systems. Upkeep and operate of HVAC BMS. Stage machinery low voltage control systems liaison. LEADERSHIP : Ensure effective communication within departments. All staff members know what developments are taking place at the state theatre at any given time. Ensure that all maintenance personnel are competent and qualified to carry out their duties through, annual performance evaluations (minimum) indicate possible shortcomings and correctivetraining, anddevelopment is instituted. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES : Issue relevant staff with required safety equipment. Maintain all records regarding machinery and equipment as required by law PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : National Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics) or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CRITICAL COMPETENCIES : 5 Years technical experience. 3 Years managerial experience. Computer Skills (Ms word & Excel) Communication Controlling budget Leadership Problem Solving Good communicator/interpersonal skill Administratively andoperationally wellorganised Able to prioritize tasks Assertiveness Pro-active in approach Punctual
