Job Description
- Design and develop high-quality physiological algorithms using Python
- Work with exercise physiology and genetic datasets to deliver actionable insights
- Build and optimise data pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into systems
- Troubleshoot and improve algorithm performance and data quality
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously enhance solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Python, with strong focus on data analysis and algorithm development
- Solid understanding of exercise physiology and/or genetic data processing
- Experience working with large datasets using tools like Pandas and NumPy
- Exposure to machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data modelling
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
Nice to Have
- Experience with R or MATLAB
- Knowledge of SQL and database design
- Background in statistics and data visualisation
