Hluhluwe: Electrician

Work Environment: Outdoor and indoor work in varying weather conditions Interaction with wildlife (adherence to safety protocols is essential) May be required to live on-site 📋 Job Specification Minimum Requirements: Trade-tested Electrician (Red Seal or equivalent qualification) Valid Wiremans License (advantageous) Minimum 35 years experience as an Electrician Experience working with generators, solar systems, and/or off-grid electrical setups Valid drivers license Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding, and repairs Experience with solar energy systems, inverters, and battery storage (highly advantageous) Understanding of health and safety standards and compliance Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Basic computer literacy for reporting and record-keeping Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and proactive Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment Comfortable living in a remote location Strong attention to detail Team player with good communication skills High level of responsibility and reliability Additional Requirements: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and standby duties No dependents (if live-in role is required, depending on reserve policy) Passion for nature and conservation is beneficial
