Hospitality and Outdoor New Vacancy Kitchen Manager/Executive Chef Luxury Tented Camp Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef for a luxury tented camp located in the Kruger Park, Mpumalanga . This senior hospitality position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-end culinary operation in one of South Africas most iconic safari destinations. The successful Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef will play a key role in delivering memorable, worldclass dining experiences while managing kitchen operations, staff, menus, and budgets in a refined luxury lodge environment. Job Requirements Hospitality qualification (Essential) Minimum of 5 years experience as a Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef or similar senior role Previous experience within a luxury lodge, tented camp, or high-end hospitality environment Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and special guest needs Proven experience in budget control, food costing, and stock management Strong leadership, staff management, and team development skills Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams in a remote environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior management Responsibilities Create; design, and implement menus that meet and exceed luxury guest expectations Oversee full responsibility for food procurement, supplier management, and cost control Ensure impeccable hygiene, cleanliness, and maintenance of all kitchen and storage areas Manage recipe development, food costing, and departmental budget control Conduct accurate monthly food and equipment stock takes Ensure profitability and cost efficiency of the kitchen department Recruit; train, schedule, and manage the kitchen brigade Conduct regular performance appraisals and ongoing staff development Build and maintain a motivated, consistent, and skilled kitchen team Ensure compliance with company policies, labour legislation, and disciplinary procedures Maintain effective working relationships with all departments Assist operationally when required and perform reasonable management duties Package Market-related salary depending on experience Live-in position Start Date: ASAP
