You will work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team, gaining exposure to product development, drawing administration, fabrication support, and R&D initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D models, fabrication drawings, assemblies, and GA drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and refine equipment designs to optimise performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure design documentation aligns with project requirements and engineering standards.
- Support new product development and variations based on engineering input or client specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, procurement, and production stakeholders to enable smooth execution of projects.
- Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly to resolve any designrelated challenges.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, adhere to drawing control procedures, and prepare “asbuilt” documentation.
- Participate in R&D and continuous improvement initiatives, including prototype design and testing support.
- Ensure design deliverables comply with ISO 9001:2015 and SolidWorks PDM requirements.

Education
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Draughting (or equivalent
Experience
- 5–8 years’ experience in mechanical design and draughting, ideally within water treatment or processequipment environments.
- Extensive experience in SolidWorks 3D modelling, detailing, and drafting.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Experience in product improvement, design development, and R&D collaboration.
- Highly organised, detailoriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
