Position Overview
The Head of Sales and Marketing – Marine Structures will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening brand positioning within the marine and port infrastructure sector. This role requires a strong understanding of marine construction markets, client engagement at executive level, and the ability to convert complex engineering solutions into commercially successful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities in marine infrastructure, port development, offshore, and coastal protection sectors.
- Drive expansion into new geographic markets and client segments.
Business Development & Sales
- Lead major bid pursuits and high-value contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with port authorities, government agencies, EPC contractors, and private developers.
- Oversee pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue targets.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and client engagements.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Strengthen market positioning and brand visibility in the marine engineering sector.
- Oversee development of marketing materials, technical presentations, and digital campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategic decisions.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with Engineering, Contracts, and Project teams to align commercial strategy with technical capabilities.
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team to achieve performance objectives.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics for business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA advantageous).
- Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in sales/business development within marine structures, heavy civil, port, or offshore infrastructure.
- Proven track record of securing large-scale marine or infrastructure contracts.
- Strong understanding of EPC contracting and tendering processes.
- Established network within ports, maritime, and infrastructure sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
