Job Description
- Full ownership of the finance function — from processing through to reporting
- A stable, well-structured international business with a strong culture
- Exposure to global teams and reporting standards
- A practical, operational role with real accountability and autonomy
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the full finance cycle (AP, AR, cashbook, GL, month-end, reporting)
- Owning financial controls, reconciliations and compliance
- Preparing monthly reporting packs and supporting budgeting/forecasting
- Working closely with offshore teams on reporting, tax and audit requirements
- Supporting the business with financial insight where needed
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant Accounting qualification (BCom Accounting or similar; CA(SA) advantageous but not essential)
- Solid experience across both transactional and reporting finance
- Strong, practical working knowledge of IFRS
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves — this is not a purely strategic role
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record of stability in previous roles
- SAP or similar ERP experience preferred
This role will suit someone who enjoys being the backbone of a business’ finance function — someone who values a collaborative, steady environment over rapid career progression, and who takes satisfaction in doing the fundamentals exceptionally well.
If you’re looking for a grounded, end-to-end finance role in a well-run international business, this could be for you!
