About the Role
As a Warehouse Manager at PROFICOS PTY LTD, you will be responsible for ensuring the peak efficiency of our warehouse operations. This involves organizing the warehouse, training employees, and managing operational goals, while also maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. You will work closely with production managers to ensure quick turnaround of products and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that warehouse operates at peak efficiency by making sure it is organised
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day to day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Review and prepare work flows and space allocations
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing company standards and procedures
- Ensure that the inventory system is up to date
- Assist in planning and pushing where gaps are noticed
- Working together with the whole team to obtain the same objective
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing
- Experience handling packaging materials (e.g., bottles, cartons, labels, closures)
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes (receiving, storage, picking, dispatch)
- Inventory management and stock control experience
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems
