About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing financial processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and transparency
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Manufacturing industry exposure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification with articles completed with SAIPA/SAICA
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or related role
Salary & Benefits
Market Related CTC, includes provident fund, medical aid is optional
