About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Forklift Driver to join our team at Merand Corbett & Associates. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facility. If you have a strong background in forklift operation and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections on forklifts and complete inspection sheets.
  • Adhere to company forklift and reach truck safety rules.
  • Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain general warehouse housekeeping.
  • Pick orders for production and customers.
  • Put away inbound raw materials and finished goods.
  • Move 3-meter and 6-meter bins and pallets safely within the warehouse.
  • Ensure goods are stored in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Assist with stock takes.
  • Offload customer returns and shipping containers.
  • Load outbound orders.
  • Handle bulk stock put away.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating forklifts with fragile goods.
  • Minimum 3 years’ overall operational/warehouse experience.
  • Valid forklift licence.
  • Wine industry experience or knowledge is essential.
  • Computer literacy for warehouse systems and reporting.
  • Experience moving large bins (3m and 6m) and pallets with a forklift.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Customer-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Systematic, methodical, and quality-focused approach.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and helpful.
