About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Au Pair & Personal Assistant to join our family in Woodhill, Pretoria East, for a temporary 3-month period starting from 1 February 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing full au pair and tutor services to our two boys aged 9 and 11, as well as managing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Full au pair and tutor duties for 2 boys aged 9 and 11 (Grades 4 & 6)
- Pick up children from school in Constantia park
- Supervising children, driving children to school or activities, and performing light housework related to children
- Manage school teams and D6 applications
- Assist with exam preparation
- Supervising domestic worker and assist with planning lunch
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Assist parents with personal day-to-day tasks
- Manage 10+ school WhatsApp groups
Requirements
- Reliable & Afrikaans speaking (preferably aged 22-35 years)
- Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must
- Matric with good marks
- Drivers license a must (vehicle provided)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience as an Au Pair, specifically including Tutoring/Teaching experience essential
- Able to work under pressure – Excellent planning and admin skills
- Fully computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Excellent skills to summarise for exams
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Non smoker/non vaper
- Contactable employment references
