Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on, disciplined Head Chef focused on leadership, cost control, consistency, and quality at Che Argentine Grill in Parkwood. Responsibilities * Lead and supervise the kitchen team * Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation * Control food cost, portioning, and wastage * Manage stock, ordering, and suppliers * Ensure hygiene and safety compliance * Oversee service readiness and timing * Train, motivate, and discipline staff * Communicate with FOH and owners * Submit weekly operational reports Requirements * 3 years experience as Head Chef * Strong leadership and communication skills * Proven cost control and stock management experience * Excellent hygiene and organizational standards * Hands-on, proactive attitude * Experience in grill/steakhouse environment (advantage) * Able to work different shifts and weekends Salary R20,000 – R35,000 per month (depending on experience) Benefits * UIF *Staff meal per shift *Opportunity for performance-based growth
