Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Oversee inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
- Manage the shipment process, ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures. Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, promoting high performance and morale. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in inventory management.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehousing and logistics.
- Experience in the electrical engineering or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proven experience managing inventory of over 100 line items.
- Previous experience managing teams of 30–50 people.
