Please note that this position is in the Middle East. All Relocation costs will be covered.
The Contracts Engineer will support contract management and compliance within the Excellence & Compliance Department. The role ensures that contract drafting, administration, and monitoring processes align with internal policies, operational excellence standards, and corporate governance requirements.
2. Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) or Business (Contracts/Procurement).
Experience:
-
Minimum of 10 years experience in contract management/administration within the oil and gas industry.
Technical Knowledge:
-
In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law.

Experience in contractor KPI tracking (HSE, quality, operational excellence).
Standards & Systems:
-
Strong understanding of the Operational Excellence (OE) framework.

Proficiency in SAP or equivalent contract administration systems.
Preferred Exposure:

Experience in tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and change management.

Draft, review, and administer contracts in compliance with internal and external standards.

Manage the tendering process, including bid evaluation and contract award.

Ensure alignment of contracting processes with operational and governance frameworks.

Support contractor performance monitoring, KPI tracking, and compliance reporting.

Collaborate with legal, procurement, and operational teams to resolve contract-related issues.

Maintain accurate contract documentation within SAP and related systems.
