About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Reservationist to join our team at Central Reservations, based in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and reservations, while also providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and online platforms
- Process bookings and manage room inventory
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel services to customers
- Maintain accurate records of customer information and reservation details
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Hotel reservations experience (at least 3 years in 4* hotels)
- Reservations and Opera experience
- Matric Tertiary Hospitality Management qualification
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Customer-focused attitude
- Strong telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and have good upselling skills
