Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Reservationist to join our team at Central Reservations, based at a hotel with city hotels and game lodges in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in reservations and opera systems, as well as a strong background in hospitality management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage hotel reservations and bookings efficiently
Utilize Opera system for reservation processing
Provide excellent customer service to clients via telephone and email
Maintain accurate records of reservations and cancellations
Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Upsell services and products to guests

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in hotel reservations in 4-star hotels
Matric Tertiary Hospitality Management qualification
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Strong customer-focused attitude
Good telephone etiquette and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Qualifications

Formal education/certifications: Matric Tertiary Hospitality Management qualification
