About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Reservationist to join our team at Central Reservations, based at a hotel with city hotels and game lodges in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in reservations and opera systems, as well as a strong background in hospitality management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hotel reservations and bookings efficiently
- Utilize Opera system for reservation processing
- Provide excellent customer service to clients via telephone and email
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and cancellations
- Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Upsell services and products to guests
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel reservations in 4-star hotels
- Matric Tertiary Hospitality Management qualification
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Strong customer-focused attitude
- Good telephone etiquette and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
