Are you a licensed Drone Pilot with a passion for cutting-edge technology and security operations? Hire Resolves client, a registered Remote Operating Company accredited by the South African Civil Aviation Authority, is looking for skilled Drone Pilots to support security monitoring at mining operations in Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drones during night-time security patrols at mining sites
- Monitor live aerial footage to identify suspicious activity or security threats
- Communicate findings with on-site security teams and control room staff
- Assist ground security teams with real-time aerial surveillance and tracking
- Ensure all drone operations comply with CAA regulations and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate flight logs, incident reports, and operational records
- Conduct basic pre-flight checks and equipment inspections
Requirements
- Valid Remote Pilot License (RPL)
- CAA accreditation
- Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) certification
- Previous drone security experience
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
- Willingness to work night shifts and stay on-site for a 14 days on / 7 days off rotation
- Strong ability to follow instructions and work within a structured team environment
