About the Role
A well-established player in the healthcare and pharmaceutical distribution sector is looking for a Backshop Sales Representative to join their team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors, rather than corporate retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Promote and sell a range of prescription and over-the-counter products
- Drive consistent sales growth within your territory
- Educate clients on product benefits and usage
- Identify opportunities to expand product uptake
- Manage your territory effectively and independently
Requirements
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales (backshop / independent channel)
- Minimum ±1 year successful track record in a similar role
- Strong understanding of pharma products and sales cycles
- Experience dealing with independent practices (non-corporate) is essential
- Candidates with strong product knowledge but limited experience may be considered
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role.
Salary & Benefits
A competitive salary package, fuel support, and travel reimbursement are offered. A strong commission structure with uncapped earning potential is also available.
