About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Abattoir Supervisor to oversee daily slaughtering operations in our Mpumalanga abattoir facility. The ideal candidate will be handson, disciplined, and confident in managing highvolume abattoir processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing staff schedules, performance, and training
- Monitoring equipment, workflow, and operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate production, traceability, and compliance records
- Enforcing biosecurity, PPE, and safety protocols
- Coordinating with inspectors, veterinarians, and management
- Managing stock control, waste reduction, and coldchain integrity
