About the Role

The Product Specialist role at Kempston Recruitment is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in East London. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to dealers, conducting diagnostics on agricultural machinery, and ensuring timely resolution of product-related queries and issues.

Key Responsibilities

Provide effective technical and operational support to dealers, ensuring timely resolution of product-related queries and issues
Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on agricultural machinery, identifying problems and recommending appropriate solutions
Support the sales and dealer teams during machine demonstrations, product training sessions, and customer handovers
Assist with the commissioning and handover of machines, ensuring customers receive clear product explanations and usage guidance
Act as a technical liaison between dealers, sales staff, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution
Maintain accurate administrative records, reports, and documentation related to product support and dealer interactions
Provide basic product and demo training to dealers and internal staff when required
Support aftersales activities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Assist with ad hoc operational and administrative tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

Completed Matric
BCom General, Business Management or similar qualification – a must
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous experience in the agricultural industry would be highly advantageous to the role
A valid drivers’ license is essential
Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently
Proactive and self-motivated
Patient, calm and tolerant in challenging situations
