About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to cover the Northern Cape region and Lesotho, driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships across these regions. Maximise sales opportunities in the area through effective sales visibility and market share growth, whilst building and maintaining good customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and increase market share in the Northern Cape region and Lesotho
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business opportunities and retain current database
- Call on architects, contractors, QSs, hardware stores, Industry bodies, and government for new tenders and projects
- Specify company products to these role players in the construction and building game
- Travel throughout the Northern Cape and Lesotho to check in on current customers and call on wholesalers
- Handle government specifically, including obtaining tenders and projects
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) with a relevant tertiary qualification in sales and/or building-related field is advantageous
- Proven sales record of at least 3 years, ideally in the building industry
- Drivers license with car pre-approval
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Good writing skills
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans

Salary & Benefits
- Employee Car Allowance Scheme (ECAS) – new cars up to 180,000km or not older than 4 years unless mileage is low
- Must be able to get car finance to keep car within ECAS specs
