About the Role
Phakisa Holdings is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our operations team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our logistics and warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently move goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stack goods
- Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift (oil, brakes, tires, etc.)
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks
- Maintain accurate records of moved goods
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Report any equipment faults or damages immediately
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Valid Forklift license
- 2-3 years experience as Forklift Operator
- Available immediately
- Clean criminal record
- Good communication skills
